Backbyn

The bathing area is a sea bath at Backbyn on the eastern side of Singö Island. Here you will find 20 metres of shoreline and a sandy beach with grassy areas in a sheltered bay facing south. There is a fishing village east of the bathing area. Singö is about 8 by 5 kilometres in area and there are several places around the island where you can go swimming.

Information about the programme

Find your way to the bathing area

The bathing area is located at Backbyn on the eastern side of Singö island. Take road 76 northwards from Norrtälje. After about 15 km, take road 283 towards Älmsta. Continue to Grisslehamn where you turn off towards Singö. After about 8 km you will reach Singö, follow the road towards Backbyn and pass the turn-off towards Singöaffären.
