BATHING PLACES

Lake Drängsjön - Domarudden

The bath is located by the beautiful Drängsjön lake, which is in the Domarudden nature reserve. Domarudden is partly a nature reserve. There is an inviting and child-friendly sandy beach, but also rocks and grass to lie on. The bathing area gives the feeling of a small forest lake, despite its relative proximity to Åkersberga town centre.

Domarudden outdoor centre is located by the car park. A well-equipped playground and beach volleyball and football pitches are adjacent to the outdoor centre. Several exercise trails and paths start from here. There is a simple outdoor gym at the start.

The Roslagsleden hiking trail also passes here. There is also the possibility of fishing, fishing licence required.

From the open-air centre it is only a short walk down to the bathing area itself. There is a toilet block with two toilets, one of which is accessible. The lake sauna is closed for a period from 1 February 2024.

"In the bosom of Roslagen on the flowering island, where the waves lapping against the shore, and the reeds waving and freshly cut hay, it smells against me sometimes, there I sit on a bench in the bersong and watch terns and seagulls"
