Österskär havsbad

You can get to Österskärs havsbad, popularly known as Solbrännan, by Roslagsbanan. The bath consists of a long, inviting sandy beach with a jetty. Above the beach there are some pine-covered rocks and grassy areas to sunbathe on. Beyond the bathing area to the east, there is a pleasant playground and a large grass pitch. The beach is very popular with windsurfers.

When you get off at Österskär station, you have a five-minute walk along Österskärsvägen to the swimming area at Trälhavet. There is an illuminated wooden walkway along the beach, which makes the beach relatively easy to access for people with mobility problems.
