Krutudden's bathing area is a child-friendly open-air bathing area with large grass areas and a sandy beach about 500 metres from central Östhammar. There are barbecue areas, a beach volleyball court and walking paths, changing cabins and toilets. Nearby is a campsite with mini golf and a stage. At the beach there is a kiosk that also rents out sup and kayaks.

Rainbow trout are stocked here, and you can also catch pike, perch and whitefish. To fish, you need a fishing licence, which can be easily purchased on site.
