The bathing area is located on the eastern shore of Lake Lommaren, below the Vigelsjö residential area in Norrtälje. There is about 75 metres of shoreline facing south, a gently sloping lawn with occasional pine trees. There is a paved footpath along the bathing area. Next to Lommarbadet is Vigelsjö outdoor area. There is a wheelchair ramp into the water.
