Älvsnäs friluftsbad

Älvsnäs outdoor swimming pool is located on Söderön. A popular bath with a sandy beach, grass areas and barbecue area. The bath is located in the southern part of Söderön by Raggaröfjärden. The bath is child-friendly and accessible for the disabled. There are changing cabins and jetties, toilet (RWC).

Vällenbadet

Vällenbadet is located on Lake Vällen with grassy areas, a small sandy beach and a nature trail for children. There are jetties, a covered picnic area and changing cabins.

Sunnanöbadet

Sunnanöbadet is a child-friendly bath with sand, jetties and rocks. Located within the camping area where food service, minilivs and bingo golf are also offered. Toilets are available.

Simbadet

Adjacent to the campsite, on a strip between the Stordammen and Oppdammen ponds, is the Simbadets bathing area with a diving tower and jetties, as well as a small sandy beach for smaller children.

Krutuddens badplats

Krutudden's bathing area is a child-friendly open-air bathing area with large grass areas and a sandy beach about 500 metres from central Östhammar. There are barbecue areas, a beach volleyball court and walking paths, changing cabins and toilets. Nearby is a campsite with mini golf and a stage. At the beach there is a kiosk that also rents out sup and kayaks.

Hargshamn friluftsbad

Hargshamn's open-air swimming pool is a child-friendly sea pool with sand, grass, rocks, swings and jetties. Hargshamn's campsite is right next door and offers a kiosk and toilets. There is good fishing here and you can also hire a boat if you want to fish or just go for a ride. It is also possible to moor your own small boat at the campsite.

Gräsöbaden

Located at Gräsöbadens camping, this bathing area offers both rocks and a sandy beach. There is also a barbecue area with beautiful views of Öregrundsgrepen.

Gimobadet

Gimobadet at Gimodammen is a child-friendly pool with large grass areas, jetties and a floating dock, barbecue areas and a ramp for those with reduced mobility. There are toilets, changing rooms, outdoor showers, barbecue areas, a kiosk and a boules court. A chainsaw-sculpted mermaid greets you at the entrance. A barbecue hut is available for hire via the RSMH Vallonerna association.

Storbrunn Cultural Centre

In the centre of the old town of Östhammar is a contemporary cultural centre. The house is a centre for creative activities and a meeting place for everyone in Östhammar municipality. Storbrunn has a library, cinema, art room, youth centre, leisure centre for people with disabilities, stage for events and rooms for conferences.

Norrtälje art centre

Norrtälje konsthall shows contemporary art by local, national and international artists. In connection with each current exhibition, we have screenings, lectures and children's activities. Konsthall wants to be a space for dialogue and reflection together with its visitors.

Garnsviksbadet

Garnsviken has an inviting little bathing area, Garnsviksbadet, which consists of a child-friendly sandy beach with a jetty. There are both grassy areas and rocks to sunbathe on.

Kärleksudden

Bathing area in the centre of Norrtälje between Norrtäljeviken and Kvisthamraviken. There is a sandy beach with about 50 metres of shoreline and sloping lawn surrounded by occasional deciduous trees and residential areas.

Kvarnsand

Located at Väddöviken, this bathing area offers a shallow sandy beach and a sandy beach with about 125 metres of shoreline and large grassy areas, making it ideal for families with children.

Lidö - a family-friendly archipelago idyll

Lidö is an idyllic nature reserve that attracts many families with children and quiet boaters. The cliffs, the beaches, the flowering meadows, the good food, all contribute to that wonderful feeling we want in the summer.

Kärleksstigen 1 km - Österbybruk

Kärleksstigen is a short section of Kulturstigen, which runs between Hembygdsgården and Långgatan with the beautiful white workers' houses. To get a circular route, take the Anna Johanna cable ferry, near the manor house.

Myran's path 0.25 km - Hargshamn

Welcome to Myrans stig, an exciting nature trail for the whole family! Here you can discover, play and learn about nature. You walk on an easy path through old mixed forest with maple and hazel. The path is 250 metres long and can be walked with a pram. The trail is open all year round, but the insects and the large play ant are there from mid-April to late autumn.

Berkingebadet

Berkingebadet is located by a restored mill pond and offers both swimming and large grassy areas for relaxation. The area has a historic mill environment and plenty of space for both play and rest.

Did you know that;

Astrid Lindgren was inspired by Roslagen when she created "We at Saltkråkan". The archipelago's glittering bays, boating and carefree summer days brought Tjorven, Båtsman and the others to life. The series was loved for its imagery and beautiful archipelago scenes.

Saltkråkan itself does not exist in real life, but the original recordings were made at Norröra in the Norrtälje archipelago. Soon, the story will be revived in a new recording that is scheduled to premiere on SVT and SVT Play in 2025.
