Practical info & FAQ

The most common way is by bus from the Royal Institute of Technology, which takes just under an hour. It is also possible to drive via the E18. During the summer, many visitors arrive by boat or in connection with onward journeys into the archipelago.

Summer is the most popular, especially from June to August when the harbour, outdoor seating areas, and events are at their most active. Spring and autumn are well-suited for nature experiences and quieter visits to the city centre.

Yes. From Norrtälje town, you can reach several parts of the Roslagen archipelago, both by car and boat. Many visitors continue to islands such as Arholma or Fejan.
