Birgitta's Ladder

Between Birgittakällan and Skederid church runs the Birgitta Trail, a short walk through lush nature and open views of the landscape. Along the trail, which is about 500 metres long, you will encounter quotes from the texts of Saint Birgitta.

The words are taken from her many revelations and give an insight into the thoughts and ideas that made her a powerful voice in her time. The trail offers a quiet walk in a historic environment where nature, the stories of the place and Birgitta's words accompany you along the way.
