At the top of the old mill building in Gimo is the Knutmasso Museum, where you can see knotted figures and masks from previous years' Knutmasso celebrations.
The building has a cosy café serving lunch, where you can buy coffee, sandwiches and salads. Bring the children and combine your visit with a craft session. The café has an imaginative miniature world created by the author of Pettson and Findus, Sven Nordqvist. Peek into the windows of the houses, play and create your own imaginary worlds.
"In the bosom of Roslagen on the flowering island, where the waves lapping against the shore, and the reeds waving and freshly cut hay, it smells against me sometimes, there I sit on a bench in the bersong and watch terns and seagulls"
