A Heart in Today's World is a play by John Ajvide Lindqvist, world-renowned for his depictions that make fear creep under your skin. Here he collaborates with director Anna Takanen, who previously directed Ajvide Lindqvist's The Unauthorized in St. Paul's Church in Stockholm in 2019 – the play where the character Lisa first saw the light of day.
Together, they are now creating a dense and disturbing drama about the consequences of loneliness and insecurity – and about the unwillingness to bear guilt.
”Anyone with a heart these days would do best to keep themselves hidden and shut their trap. That's how it's become. In our beloved Sweden.”
