Art walk among Norrtälje's public artworks
Join us on an art walk, where we look at public works related to Norrtälje's present and history. We will visit 8 works that are scattered in the city's various spaces. Some places we recognise, others are hidden and unexpected places. We will talk about the works and the history of the places, why the work is placed here and what the works want to convey to us in the public space. What is the role of art in the public space of the city? The work makes us reflect on our present, history and future.
Public art is part of the municipality's common art, and thus becomes part of our common cultural heritage and collective memory.
