Conny Karlsson Lundgren's work moves in a porous borderland between public and private, filled with secret codes, queer experiences and countercultures where time, place and social environment form scenes for alternative communities.
Desire, lust, intimacy and resistance are carefully brought out of the hidden stories of the archives with a fascination for Swedish gay history. His work is often anchored in
local stories unfolding in a larger context - in a circular time, where different events coexist.
