With classic stage ingredients and a new, explosive cast of performers, the world of football is dissected into a one-hour stage experience. Everything that makes the sport so beloved is captured here.
The charged atmosphere in a packed arena, the thrill of a decisive goal, despair in defeat and the joy of the choreography of iconic goal celebrations. With high-level acrobatics, the ball takes on a life of its own, flying through the air and changing the game in real-time. And the audience? They play a crucial role. With cheers, applause and shouts, the spectators can influence the referee's decisions, at least in this match.
On stage stands Erik Rosales, founder of Sirqus Alfons, alongside circus star Aaron Hakala (most recently in Red Hot Condition), actor Siri Hamari from Siri on a Tightrope, and mime artist Ana Stanišić, praised for her unique movement art. Together, they form a team of some of Sweden's foremost physical artists, now in a joint production for the first time.
