”Travellers visiting Österby who wish to see its sights and most beautiful areas without having to make detours are hereby taking the liberty of suggesting the following walking tour.” This is how the chapter ”Information for Travellers” begins in the text ”Description of Österby Mill” from 1841 by the priest and author Carl Gustaf Rollin. We will take the suggested walk with a historical guide (approx. 1.5 hours) and conclude with a joint coffee break in the manor house surroundings for those who wish. Please bring your own packed lunch.
Important information: Difficulty: Easy to moderate, walk approximately 1.5 km in urban and park environments. Bring your own packed lunch/fika.
