During the course, we will train in improvisation techniques, acting, and stage presence. We will meet four times for two hours each, to present an improvised performance to an audience on the fifth occasion.
Both beginners and experienced improvisers are welcome!
The course is aimed at those who:
is a beginner and curious about improvisational theatre,
• is an experienced improviser and wishes to join a newly formed improv group,
• looking for a context to express your playful spirit,
• want to try something new and perhaps unexpected,
yearns to be active with body, voice and imagination,
want to practice being here and now,
• always thought ”But surely I can't...” (yes, you can!),
• just wants to have fun!
The course leader is HildeMarie Farstad Broady, who has a higher education degree in acting from the Theatre Academy in Luleå. Among other things, she works as an actress and director at Teater Oland, and as a drama and film educator at the Cultural School in Östhammar.
Course dates: 25 March, 8 April, 22 April, 6 May and 20 May (Improland Show performance!)
