The Mine Museum
See the unique model that shows what the mine looks like underground. Here is also the velvet-covered drum that the king Oscar II travelled down into the mine, as well as machines and tools used through the ages. A drone film showing what the mine looks like underground is shown all day.
The Mineral Museum
Fascinated by gemstones and minerals. Explore how iron ore can be magnetic, how the ore was formed and why Dannemora became known for its world-class iron ore. Play with magnetite, quiz walk.
Dannemora Adventure
Try climbing all day in a mine shaft in Hornemann's depression. An exciting activity for both children and adults.

Here you can see the old mining game.
Mine experience at Grangex and Dannemora Mine
Step into a constructed mine gallery and experience the feeling of being underground. Here, various types of rock reinforcement are displayed, including Swedish, Polish, and German rock support.
Take a look at 3D visualisations of some of the mine's shafts, drifts and mining chambers and gain insight into Dannemora's long industrial history.

In Österbybruk, history, crafts and activities for both old and young meet.

Local heritage centre
Visit the Boat House with its unique fishing gear exhibition. The farm's other houses and sheds are open, and coffee is served between 11:00 and 15:00 in a pleasant setting. Österby Fishing Association will talk about Ökstockar (Österby eka) and fishing with scoop nets.
Österby Weaving Studio
Hand-woven rugs and tablecloths for sale, plus a jumble sale.
Farm Museum
See a unique collection of agricultural and firefighting equipment preserved for the future. Here you will find, among other things:

The Valley Forge and the Blacksmith's Cottage
Meet Österby Theatre bringing heritage to life. Feel a cannonball from Gustav VasaSee how blacksmiths lived and lived.

Stallbacken – activities and crafts
- Brukssmederna is open and lets you try forging yourself.
- The Orangery offering workshops at 12:00, 13:00, 14:00 and 15:00:
Sitting with the garden gnome – seeds, potatoes and flower baskets. - Building conservation and reuse remains open.
- For children, there is horseshoe tossing, stilts, and sack racing.
- Local producers and artisans sell their products.

Biologist Moje Ramstedt talks about apples. The lecture concludes with a visit to the apple trees in the manor park.

Arianna Funk – Textiles
Exhibition focusing on humanity's everyday relationship with textiles, from utility weaves to monumental works.
Free entry. There is also a shop with selected furnishings, crafts, handmade goods, and Pipersglace.
Mini outdoor fair at Herrgårdsdammen/Klockstapeln
Together with Simbadet campsite, Dannemora Äventyr, Natur och Kultur, IFK Dannemora/Österby and Österby Fishing Association, there will be an outdoor fair for the whole family.

- Test Ökstock. Go on a tip round on the pond in an Ökstock – Österbybruk's specially designed fishing boat. At your own risk, maximum two people per team.
- Take the ferry “Anna Johanna”. The chain ferry connects Kärleksudden with the manor grounds across Herrgårdsdammen. Visitors man and pull themselves across.
See the Vallonhem project
Visit the newly built toilet, which is open to passers-by, and take a walk across the small footbridge leading towards the allotment gardens in Hammarhagen. Part of the barn will also be open, displaying paintings and artefacts from the area.
