The crazy action-comedy from 2003 quickly reached the top of the box office and is today considered one of the most watched Swedish films of all time. With its humour, warmth and wacky action scenes, it has been loved by the Swedish people. Now we are breathing new life into it on the theatre stage.
In a quiet Swedish small town, no crime has occurred for over ten years. When the local police station is suddenly threatened with closure, the officers must find a way to save the situation… even if it means starting a crime wave the town has never seen before.
On stage, you'll meet beloved comedian Anna Blomberg (Kvarteret Skatan), Linus Eklund Adolphson (Grotesco and 112 Aina), Léonie Vincent (Netflix hit The Chestnut Man), Joel Schmidt (TV series Knutby), Ali Al-hasan and Norrtälje's own Robert Sjöblom (Jack, Hassel as well as comedies at Fredriksdalsteatern, Vasateatern, Intiman and Folkan).
Direction and adaptation are by Fabian Hedlund, who was also behind the Swedish premiere of the West End hit *Citron Citron Citron Citron Citron* at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern.
