- Location:
- Grisslehamn, Grisslehamn harbour

The purpose of the competition is to preserve the traditional boat culture and to promote sportsmanship and seamanship.
Every year, over 200 participants battle with the oars to get their boat across the sea as quickly as possible. The competition is held in period dress and there are female, male, and mixed teams. The boat must also be period-appropriate, and the overall victory goes to the crew who has amassed the most points overall for attire, boat, and speed.
This year's Post Rådd is the 52nd consecutive competition, starting from Grisslehamn at 10:00 local time. The finish line is in Eckerö, Åland, around 13:00-15:00 local time.
