The Boilmakers and Blixterz promise a wild time on stage if you promise to put on your best dancing shoes and give us everything you've got!
The Boilermakers are Stockholm's rockin’ blues trio who, with their influences from Rock n’ Roll and Rhythm n’ Blues, have become a live act to be reckoned with.
With rousing guitar solos, rumbling double bass, and the grooviest Mora-shuffle in the country, they ensure the audience gets something that will get even the weariest feet moving in time, as proven at festivals, car shows, and private events both in Sweden and abroad.
Blixterz aren’t a traditional dansband in the classic sense of the word. And they don’t want to be. They describe themselves as a rock’n’roll/dansband, with dance-friendly music that you can dance to – whether it’s bugg, foxtrot, or just pure unadulterated joy.
In their sound, you can hear clear influences from The Playtones, The Refreshments, and the entire American 1950s wave. But they manage to put their own stamp on it – energetic, grooving, and straight from the heart. Blixterz sound authentic, and you can tell the band loves what they do. You can't fake authenticity. It has to be felt – and it is.
