Do you have far too many apples or currants that you don't know what to do with? Swap with other growers during the day! Perhaps you'd rather have seeds, beans, or onions that someone else has in surplus? It's bartering like in the Viking age! If you have nothing to swap, there are other things to do and see.
How does it work?
- You can bring your harvest and will be assigned a table. You don't need to guard the table and can participate in the day's activities until it's time for bartering, at the given signal!
- Learn what we have made from plants at different times! Such as medicine, food, clothing, toys and tools, among other things.
- Swap harvests of fruit, berries, greens, and seeds with fellow home growers
- Competition: Biggest, Most Beautiful and Strangest Vegetable/Fruit
- Coffee shop
- Taster crafts such as plant fibre braiding
- Doctor
- Lecture on edible wild plants
