Magnus Ringborg, sculptor. Exhibition at the Art Gallery at Länsmansgården, 22 August – 13 September.

Magnus Ringborg is a sculptor with public works in Stockholm, Norrköping, Linköping, Marstrand, Lysekil, and other locations. He works predominantly with stone: granite, marble, and alabaster, but also with wood and bronze. His works have often been created on-site where the stone is found, in Bovallstrand, Zaragoza, Carrara, Mahabalipuram. Perhaps his background as a psychologist has influenced his interest in seeking expression for soft emotions in hard materials.

The exhibition has an interactive approach, where visitors can explore the emotions that may lie behind the tough exterior.
