The walk begins with the history of the Wallinska farmsteads and the former City Hotel. We continue to the town physician Georg Palmgren's richly decorated house, the old brick fire station, preserved courtyard environments, the old town hall on Stora Torget, and more. Our guide will talk about the baker Wallin, who was skilled at the organ but also an avid winter swimmer. About the legal scribe Humbla, who lost his head in the 17th century, about the maid Matilda, the savings bank's first customer in 1859, and Margareta Krook's teenage years in this town.
Mandatory pre-registration via SMS to 073-659 52 00, payment on site.
