Find your way to the pearls of the archipelago! Here are some tips on summer boat trips to islands in the archipelago of Mellersta Roslagen and Norrtälje. There are two lines from Norrtälje harbour: North/South line and Northern boat line - but there are more boat routes within the municipality, and not all islands are accessible from here.
For some tours, you first need to get to one of the archipelago's hubs: Furusund, Räfsnäs or Simpnäs. From there, other boats depart - either on regular SL services or as special summer tours.

Fejan is a living island with a dramatic history. It was once home to the East Coast's major quarantine station, and the old gasworks now houses kayak hire. Follow the Strindberg walk and discover turn-of-the-century villas and exciting cultural history - or just take it easy with a long coffee in the sun. If you want to shorten your visit, there is a bus back to Norrtälje. Comfortable, beautiful - and simply authentic Roslagen.
