The Fäviksgrundet nature reserve consists of the island of Fäviksgrundet, which is only about 0.5 hectares in size.
The island is located about 2 miles south of Norrtälje city and is located in the inner central archipelago, close to the mainland at Fäviken, in Vettershagasundet. The reserve was established by the Stockholm County Administrative Board in 1970 and is managed by Norrtälje municipality. The purpose of the nature reserve is to preserve a coastal area with plant and animal life worthy of protection.
Find here Fävikshagen is located at Fäviken in Vettershagasundet. From Norrtälje town, drive along the coastal road (road 276) for about 19 kilometres and then turn left.
