ABOUT RIMBO

Rimbo, located west of Norrtälje, has a rich history as a former railway hub where the Roslagsbanan once connected Roslagen with Stockholm. Although the railway is no longer in use, traces of its history remain in the local environment.

Rimbo has a strong tradition of culture and events. Every year, on the first Thursday in October, Rimbo comes alive with the big Rimbo market - a tradition that attracts visitors from near and far. The town also has a vibrant cultural scene in Opalen, where music, theatre and performances create a meeting place for both local and visiting artists.

With its mix of history, culture and nature, Rimbo is a place to visit for those who want to experience Roslagen beyond the coastal horizon.
