Lindholmen Nature Reserve
Lindholmen Nature Reserve was inaugurated on 16 May 1996 and is the first nature reserve established by Norrtälje municipality.
The nature reserve is about 4 hectares in size and is located just east of Norrtälje town. The reserve was established with the aim of favouring the oaks and the natural values associated with the oak as a species and the oak hill as a habitat. The area is a mountain and moraine hill covered with deciduous trees, where the dominant tree species are oak, aspen and hazel. Lindholmen's rich flora and bird life attract many visitors.
