Norröra is best known for the fact that most of the TV series were filmed here, and in the summer there are guided salt marsh tours with s/s Blidösund. Norröra is believed to be one of the first populated islands in Roslagen and during the 14th century the island belonged to the Penningby estate. Today, only a few families live here all year round. In summer, around 130 households live on the island.
